Great attention in the USA for Italian wine, Chiara Soldati (La Scolca) there are great possibilities

"There is a great desire for Made in Italy, it's up to us to offer it in the best possible way": Chiara Soldati CEO of La Scolca, the oldest winery in Gavi, one of the first realities in the Italian wine sector, returning from a tour in the United States to present his company, he testifies with his own experience the passion of the States for Italian wine, its history, its territories and its great diversity. Twelve intense days, between meetings with the trade press, awards, consolidated partnerships and new alliances, a busy calendar of appointments, starting with the Best of the Best, held in Miami, which saw 50 of the best stars and stripes chefs propose their dishes in combination with the approximately 60 labels that for Wine Spectator, the authentic bible of international wine criticism, deserved a score starting from 90 points. It was certainly exciting to find yourself in a context that represents the elite of world production – says Chiara Soldati, – Just as it was wonderful to travel again, to meet and exchange ideas. It is important to resume traveling and re-establish direct contacts with the reference markets, even more so in this complex moment".

But the thing that most filled her with pride, "beyond the success of our labels, was perceiving the passion of Americans for Italian wines of which they particularly appreciate the history, the territories, the extraordinary diversity and the style that characterizes unequivocally quality Made in Italy”.

A Made in Italy that experienced an important moment in the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, the most important boat and yacht event in the world, during which La Scolca confirmed the partnership with the Ferretti Group, the iconic brand of luxury sailing that boasts names such as Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, CNR, Custom Line and Wally in its portfolio. A mix, the one between the La Scolca labels and the Ferretti boats, which reaffirms that Italian Style so much appreciated by the overseas public. As also clearly emerged during the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®), a context that saw another important milestone sanctioned, the partnership between La Scolca and Coravin. The trip also represented an opportunity to finally present "live", to the press and sector operators, the best-selling wines of the Piedmontese house in the USA: Gavi dei Gavi ® Black Label, Gavi dei Gavi ® D'Antan and Gavi La Scolca . “We have perceived a great deal of attention towards Italian excellence – explains Chiara Soldati – and a great desire to return to visit our country. And it is our duty to offer our extraordinary heritage of art, culture and products in the best possible way. We are guardians of an unparalleled beauty, even more precious, in the eyes of the world, in a dramatic moment like the one we are experiencing in these terrible weeks".
