Government, transfers to Municipalities brought forward to September. Save 6 courts in mafia areas

The Council of Ministers has established via decree to bring forward the payment of the third installment of transfers to the Municipalities from December to September - Green light also for the revision of the judicial geography, but the courts suppressed are 31 instead of the 37 originally foreseen - The offices are saved in areas of high intensity of organized crime.

Will the payment of the third installment of transfers to the Municipalities was brought forward from December to September by the Experimental Rebalancing Fund. This was established by a decree of the Ministry of the Interior presented today in cabinet

According to the Anci, the intervention had been requested by the Municipalities during the last State-City conference to help the administrations that have collected less from the Imu and which have suffered cuts in transfers.

The text reads that "the payment of the third installment of the Experimental Rebalancing Fund for the year 2012 in favor of the Municipalities will be made by the Ministry of the Interior within the month of September 2012".

The CDM has also given the green light to the provision on the revision of the judicial geography. Government sources report it. The final text provides that the suppressed courts are 31instead of the 37 originally foreseen. The same sources explain that the Executive has decided to safeguard the courts in areas with a high intensity of organized crime.
