Japan, record exports but the trade deficit is growing

Sharp growth for Japanese imports and exports in July. The country's trade balance registers a red for 1.024 trillion yen, clearly above the 528,6 billion of the past year and above the 775 billion forecast by analysts. Important growth for exports, +12,2% but imports are growing even more, which in July showed +19,6%.

Among the imports those from Italy stand out in particular: in the first half of 2013 Italy was in fact in first place in terms of exports to Japan. The news comes directly from the statistics of the Tokyo Ministry of Finance: the turnover, between January and June, was 456,5 billion yen or 3,464 billion euros with a performance of 28%. In this special classification we are only followed by Russia which, however, has to settle for the second step of the podium with its +26,7%. In the month of June alone, Italy recorded a resounding +37,1%.
