German Railways will take over 80 thousand new employees in the next ten years. This was stated by the president of Deutsche Bahn Ruediger Grube, during an interview with Bild: “The need for employees is great. Over the next ten years we will hire 80 new employees, not counting growth. We always find enough great staff.”
An unusual announcement, in times of crisis and rampant unemployment, so much so that the company received over 50 job applications for positions as train driver and manager. Meanwhile, in September, the training of over 4.000 workers just out of school will begin.
