Christmas shopping holidays for Leonardo Del Vecchio and Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone who continue to reinforce their stake in the capital of generals.

According to what emerges from the internal dealing communications, on 20 and 21 December Delfin, the Luxembourg holding company of the Del Vecchio family, purchased a total of 820 thousand shares of the Lion of Trieste, equal to 0,05% of the capital, for a total amount of 11,9 .XNUMX million euros and raising the stake in Generali's capital to 4,03%. In detail, on the 20th the owner of Luxottica purchased 440 thousand shares of Generali, at the weighted average price of 14,5892 euros and a total amount of 6,42 million, while on 21st December 380 thousand shares were bought, at the weighted average price of 14,4543 euros and a total amount of 5,49 million euros.

The Roman entrepreneur did not stand by and watch: on 21 December, Fincal of Caltagirone in fact bought 800 thousand shares on behalf of the company's deputy chairman, a share which also in this case is equal to approximately 0,05% of the capital at 15 euros each, for an investment of 12 million. With this operation the Roman businessman in turn strengthened his position, bringing it to around 4,81%.

In a red session in Piazza Affari, weakened by the ECB's fears about the Italian maneuver and with a loss of 1,86% at 15.00, the Generali stock dropped 1,51%.
