(Teleborsa) – Change at the helm of General Electric. Jeff Immelt President and CEO of the American giant leaves his seat. He will be replaced by John Flannery, current president and chief executive officer of GE Healthcare. Flannery will assume the position on August 1, 2017 which will take effect on January 1, 2018. Flannery, 55, began his career at GE Capital in 1987.
Jeff Immelt will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors until December 31, 2017. GE also announced that Jeff Bornstein, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been promoted to vice president of the company.
