An ice cream to make at home in three minutes without an ice cream maker, and moreover integral, vegetable, organic? It can be done, and you can also indulge yourself with the varieties: Pistachio, Hazelnut, Almond, Raw Chocolate, Gianduia, Raw foodist salted caramel, Protein with peanut butter, Ciocodolce, Lemon cream, Coffee.

The idea was born during the first lockdown of 2020 and required a year of experiments to get the desired result. Grezzo Raw Chocolate has taken care of it, the ice cream confectionery born in Rome in 2014 with the aim of using raw food cooking techniques to develop desserts based exclusively on vegetable ingredients (vegan or plant-based), organic, gluten-free and lactose-free, with processing procedures that do not exceed 42° in temperature to keep the nutritional qualities and natural taste of the food unaltered and with 50% less sugar than traditional artisan ice creams.

Thus were born the organic preparations for homemade ice cream sold in glass jars that are kept at room temperature - they are transformed into a creamy quality ice cream, on a par with the best homemade ice cream, just by adding water and following a simple and rapid process of processing.

The ingredients are already selected and balanced, so at home it is enough to add water, blend, freeze. And that's all.

“Covid-19 has overwhelmed us, but it has also prompted us to reflect on new development models. During the times when we were all closed at home, I focused on what people were experiencing and on the fact that quality and organic products didn't have an appropriate distribution. Our shops were suffering from a lack of customers,” says Nicola Salvi, founder of Grezzo Raw Chocolate. “So, I asked myself: «How can I get everyone high-quality ice cream directly from home?». Hence the idea of ​​Bio Preparations for Gelato; but the challenge was complex: how to make a quality ice cream without tools? It took a year of work and trials to make the process simple and within everyone's reach, resulting in a creamy gelato with a superior taste. No compromises on the selection of ingredients, nor on the structure and creaminess. The feedback from customers who are trying it throughout Italy is truly exciting".

The Bio Preparations for Grezzo di Grezzo ice cream provide a particularly high level of fiber and protein, and have 50% less sugar than traditional ice cream. Inside them, only healthy fats and friends of health and few calories: on average, around 200 kcal per 100g.

The ingredients list follows a strict rule: no processed, industrial ingredients or additives are used. The sweeteners used are organic whole coconut sugar and whole agave syrup, both natural and unrefined, with the characteristic of having a very low glycemic index, as well as a slightly fruity aftertaste.

Gelato di Grezzo Raw Chocolate - Salvi continues - anticipates the new food trends of the future (green and plant-based), writing a new page in the ice cream shop.

 The Bio Preparations for Gelato are sold in 180g jars with which over 420g of ice cream are obtained.

In particular, two new flavors also introduced in the flagship stores for take-away ice cream stand out. Raw food salted caramel, made cold thanks to a careful combination of natural ingredients, which will amaze you with its taste. And the lemon cream, totally vegetable, naturally colored with organic turmeric, which amazes for its creaminess and taste.
