“Yesterday late in the evening we signed an agreement for another 400 hires in Trenitalia by the end of the year. Of these, 293 will be employed on the trains, 66 in vehicle maintenance and 41 in the commercial sector, between sales and assistance", announces the general secretary of the Fit-Cisl Salvatore Pellecchia.
The 400 hires announced on 15 November add to the 1.908 that have already taken place in Trenitalia since the beginning of the year and the 5.700 hired by the Ferrovie group in 2019 between Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (1.824), Anas (631), and the other Group companies (1.361).
“It is an additional and important step towards one of the most challenging objectives of the 2019-2023 business plan of the FS Italiane Group, which provides for 15 direct hires in five years", explains the company in a note.
