The Turin prosecutor's office has asked for a sentence of two years and eight months' imprisonment each for the former mayors of Fondiaria-Sai, in the process with abbreviated procedure underway in the Turin court.
In addition, a sentence to the ancillary sanctions provided for by law was also requested. The former mayors Benito Giovanni Marino, Marco Spadacinio and Antonio D'Ambrosio are on trial for the crime of aggravated false accounting (2010 accounts of Fondiaria-Sai).
