Mauro Moretti, managing director and general manager of Finmeccanica, presented yesterday to the top management of the group and its subsidiaries the reorganization plan of the group. According to what has been learned, the fundamental points would be two: transformation of the 100% subsidiaries into divisions in 2015 and new reorganization of the top management lines.
Yesterday Moretti confirmed the centralization of powers within the holding company with the process which in 2015 will lead the main aerospace and defense operating companies – wholly owned by Finmeccanica – to become simple business divisions.
As for the holding's management, the main change is the expansion of Giovanni Soccodato's responsibilities: the director of strategies, business development and innovation also has the "market coordination" functions now in the hands of Massimo Pugnali.
