Fiera Milano returns to the Star in Piazza Affari after a year and a half hiatus. The Italian exhibition operator has received from Borsa Italiana the re-attribution of the qualification necessary to re-enter the Title Segment with High Requirements starting from next 30 April.

"I am satisfied with the work carried out and with the path that Fiera Milano has taken, allowing us to achieve this result", commented Fabrizio Curci, CEO and general manager of the company, "in November 2016 the company had voluntarily requested to leave the Star in relation to the judicial administration measures which after careful work were definitively revoked last September".

As explained by the CEO, almost a year and a half ago - it was November 2016 - the company's board of directors had asked for the voluntary exclusion of its shares due to the legal proceedings of the subsidiary Nolostand.

In July 2016, in fact, the parent company had received a capital prevention decree for some contractual relationships with a supplier. Three months later Fiera Milano also received a judicial administration order from the Court of Milan limited to the sector of procurement of stands by the company through the use of the subsidiary Nolostand.

During the period of voluntary exclusion from the Star segment, the group continues, “the company continued to maintain the corporate governance, information transparency and liquidity requirements in line with the quality standards required by this segment. The start date of trading on the Star segment is scheduled for 30 April 2018. Banca IMI will continue to play the role of specialist on the stock.
