The CEO of Ferrovie dello Stato considers it "plausible" for FS to be listed on the stock exchange between 2015 and 2016. "A fairly important job has been done, now there will be an acceleration - said Michele Elia speaking at a conference – but all the decisions belong to the Ministry of the Economy”.
Then, with regard to how to land on the Stock Exchange, Elia commented that "There are various hypotheses, we are evaluating risks and opportunities", referring to the possibility of listing 40% of the entire state railway group, or first demerging the company through a separation corporate.
