By the end of the year, or at the latest by the month of January, Ferrovie dello Stato will issue a bond for a maximum amount of 750 million euros. This was announced by the CEO of Ferrovie Mauro Moretti. The bond will be reserved mainly for institutional investors.
The company needs liquidity to invest to finance future investments: “For current expenses – specified Moretti – we are absolutely fine. We have a three billion investment plan to modernize the infrastructure and complete the local network".
