Ferrari boosts profits (+60%)

In the first quarter, total deliveries reached 2.003 cars, up by 121 units (+6,4%) – Sales of 12-cylinder (V12) models did very well.

Ferrari archive the first quarter of the year with a Net income of 124 million euros (equal to 65 cents), up 60% compared to 78 million in the same quarter of 2016.

I revenues net amounted to 821 million (+21,5%), while the deliveries total reached 2.003 cars, an increase of 121 units (+6,4%). The debt net industrial fell to 578 million.

THEAdjusted Ebitda it stood at 242 million, with a margin that currently stands at 29,5%. Outlook for 2007 confirmed.

Sales of 50-cylinder models increased by 12% between January and March (V12), while those of the 3-cylinder models fell by 8% (V8).

The strong performance of the V12 models - underlines the Maranello house - was led by the GTC4Lusso, the Ferrari Aperta and the F12tdf, a performance partly offset by that of the F12berlinetta, now in its sixth year of marketing and on its way out of the market .

  regions have made a positive contribution. In the Emea area, which recorded an expansion of 8,8%, Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom recorded double-digit growth.

The Americas grew 4,2%, while Rest of Asia Pacific (Apac) grew 4%. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, on an aggregate basis, recorded +3,2%.

After the dissemination of these data, Ferrari's share on the Stock Exchange gains 3,5%, to 72,00 euros.
