FCA, agreement with Mise and Regions: 150 million for research

The agreement reached provides for a total investment in research and development of over 150 million euros, most of which allocated by FCA. Resources that will be used to support the competitiveness of the Italian automotive sector.

The Ministry of Economic Development, the Piedmont, Campania and Abruzzo regions and the Autonomous Province of Trento have signed a memorandum of understanding with FCA and the Fiat Research Center.

Four project lines developed by FCA in the Piedmontese sites of Orbassano and Turin, Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples) and Trento. These projects - explains the Mise - "confirm the strategic choice of wanting to strengthen the FCA presence in Italy and to invest in the Centers of Excellence in R&D, with positive effects for the Regions and the country system".
