Electronic invoice and Spesometro: tax decree on the way

Electronic invoice and Spesometro: tax decree on the way

While waiting for the real game – which will be played in the autumn, with the Budget Law – the Conte government is ready to make an opening move on the economy. Before the summer, the Treasury wants to finalize a decree on taxation and simplifications which should travel in parallel with the "Dignity" decree on the gig economy announced in recent days by the Minister of Labour, Luigi Di Maio.

The package of measures being studied in Via XX Settembre would be low-cost and would allow the government to claim an initial success in the economic sphere, postponing until after the summer the discussion on the flagship measures of the yellow-green program - from the flat tax to the income of citizenship – which instead will cost a rain of billions.

Here's what the maxi pre-bathing decree should contain.

ENLARGEMENT OF THE FLAT-RATE SCHEMES

The main change should be the easing of the criteria which today allow entrepreneurs and professionals to access flat-rate schemes. The goal is to extend the number of workers who have access to simplified taxation (today there are around 1,5 million taxpayers with revenues between 25 and 50 euros who can opt for the 15% substitute tax).

RETURN OF ELECTRONIC INVOICE FOR PETROL STATIONS

There is also talk of postponing the introduction of the electronic invoice obligation for petrol stations, introduced by the previous government to combat smuggling, from 2018 July XNUMX to next year.

GAMES: MORE TAXES AND LESS POINTS OF SALE

In terms of gaming, the decree should provide for a mix of tax increases and reductions in points of sale, with the aim of recovering 7-800 million per year.

GOODBYE AMENDMENT, WELCOME THIRD SCRAPPING

Having set aside the project of a grave amnesty, too indigestible for the Grillino electorate, the project of launching a third edition of the scrapping of tax bills to collect between two and three billion is gaining momentum.

SPESOMETER AND SECTOR STUDIES: EARLY CLOSING

In fact, the spesometer and sector studies have already been abolished, but the new government could speed up the farewell, currently scheduled for January XNUMX next year.
