Fabrizio Corona, is it up to him or the Prosecutor's Office to inform about the football betting suspects? Scandalous that Rai pays for it

It is grotesque that the football betting fever revolves around an ambiguous character like Fabrizio Corona and that the TV channels invite him every evening by shelling out a lot of money which in the case of Rai is public.

Fabrizio Corona, is it up to him or the Prosecutor's Office to inform about the football betting suspects? Scandalous that Rai pays for it

It is simply delusional that in the days of the massacre in Gaza, the war that continues in Ukraine and the biblical exodus of migrants from Africa towards Italy and Europe, the Rai, which is and remains state TV, spends a lot of public money to increase the audience by hosting and interviewing a very disreputable character ("character" he defines as Aldo Grasso on the Courier) as Fabricius Corona. Since the new scandal broke out football bets not a night goes by without Corona blurting out or pretending to know the names of alleged suspects. In a few days she has become the new Sibilla Cumana of football betting. But two questions arise.

First point: it's really up to him or not Turin Public Prosecutor's Office, which has deservedly launched an investigation into illegal betting on the suspicion that it often leads to organized crime and money laundering phenomena, inform who is registered in the register of suspects and who is not? The answer should be obvious but it seems like we are in a world of madmen: the General first Vannacci, then the fake ambassador Basile and now Corona. But is this really the TV of a civilized country?

Second point: we all want the truth about football betting but, as Aldo Grasso wrote, it is scandalous that it is Corona who anticipates the real or presumed moves of the Prosecutor's Office or is it more scandalous that there are plenty of TV channels, and above all Rai, who invite him to talk hoping that he will blurt out new sensational names of football stars as alleged suspects? Corona often bluffs but today this is what happens on our screens. It would be interesting to reflect on the real quality of television information and entertainment, but if TV stations are private they are also free to use their money as they wish. But what if it is Rai that shells out money for a grotesque character like Corona? Here the situation changes completely and perhaps down from the tower, together with Corona, state TV should also end.
