Eurozone, July trade surplus +4,3 billion

Between June and July, exports increased by 2% and imports by 1,9%. In the EU the deficit was 8 billion in July, against 12,8 billion in the previous month and 7,5 billion in the same month last year.

Eurozone, July trade surplus +4,3 billion

In July, the trade balance of the Eurozone recorded an annual decline of 0,4 billion euros. According to the latest Eurostat data, the surplus was 4,3 billion, against the 4,7 recorded in the same period last year. As for June, the balance was 0,1 billion, against 0,4 in 2010.

Between June and July, exports increased by 2% and imports by 1,9%. In the EU the deficit was 8 billion in July, against 12,8 billion in the previous month and 7,5 billion in the same month last year. Exports grew by 3,2%, imports by 1,4%.
