The Greek government must indicate "urgently" how it intends to deal with the budget hole for the two-year period 2014-2015. This was stated by the president of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, without however specifying the amount that Athens is called upon to raise.
Again with reference to Greece, Dijsselbloem then added that there is "the political urgency" to have precise commitments on the management of privatizations and on structural reforms. This is an essential condition in view of the payment of the new tranche of the international loan for the rescue of the Greek country.
