Italian employees of the EssilorLuxottica group will receive a record award in 2023.
The company communicated it, in a joint note also signed by the unions Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, Uiltec Uil, EssiLux. According to the numbers provided, they will be distributed overall 32 million, a figure it represents growth 17% compared to the bonuses paid last year "also by virtue of an increasingly inclusive incentive and calculation system", underlines the note.
EssilorLuxottica: how much is the bonus for employees?
In 2023, the premium will therefore rise above i 3.800 euros gross per employee. However, the amount may also increase. In fact, if the male or female worker decides to convert the bonus into goods and services welfare, the figure will exceed i 4.100 euro, this time net, equal to about 2 additional months' salaries.
The trade unions express "full satisfaction with the results obtained and with the award, the highest ever, which recognizes the workers' contribution to the company's success".
In a phase that also marks the beginning of the second-level bargaining season between trade unions and companies, there is "appreciation for the strong orientation shown towards innovation and experimentation even in the factory on issues such as work-life balance and safeguarding the excellence and competitiveness of Italian businesses”.
