No stress tests for 2015. This was announced by the European Banking Authority, which in the current year will bring forward a transparency exercise, in line with the one conducted in 2013, i.e. it will provide details on banks' balance sheets and portfolios, starting preparations for the next round of stress tests, expected for 2016.
The president of the EBA, Andrea Enria, who will speak today before the Senate Finance Commission, also explained that the year that has just ended "has produced an enormous amount of information, some banks are adapting to the recommendations following the exercise and the single supervisory activity has just begun”.
