Giuseppe Cerbone is the new CEO of the 24 Ore Group. the assignment of him becomes operational from 1 August. Cerbone, 60, leaves Ansa where he was reappointed CEO last April. It takes the place vacated by Franco Moscetti has resigned, he who had already been general manager and managing director of Sole 24 Ore.
Here is the note released Wednesday by the editorial group:
“The Board of Directors of Sole 24 ORE SpA met in Milan under the chairmanship of Edoardo Garrone and, following the selection process entrusted to a specialized company and with the involvement of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, co-opted as director Giuseppe Cerbone with effect from 1 August 2018. Giuseppe Cerbone has also been designated as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the related powers will be conferred in the next meeting of the Board of Directors on 1 August next".
