Digital Bros: video games take off on the Stock Exchange

After a spectacular rise in earnings over the nine months, the Italian video game multinational (owner of the Halifax brand) takes off in Piazza Affari, scoring the best rise of the entire list – the value of the stock has doubled in six months.

In Piazza Affari the star of Digital Bros, which in the morning managed to gain 10,2%, at 6,54 euros per share, achieving the best rise of all Borsa Italiana. The wave of purchases on the title was triggered by the latest positive accounts published by the Italian video game multinational.  

Digital Bros closed the first nine months of the 2014-2015 financial year with a spectacular rise inNet income, which reached 5,588 million, from the 412 thousand euros recorded in the same period of the previous year. The gross operating margin it more than doubled, reaching 9,608 million. 

I gross revenues, on the other hand, reached 88 million euros, recording a decrease of 12,7% on the year. As for thenet financial debt, decreased from 21,909 to 11,668 million.

Founded in 1989 by brothers Abramo and Raffaele Galante and listed on the Star segment of Borsa Italiana, Digital Bros produces and distributes entertainment content on mobile, social, digital and retail channels. 

The group employs over 150 people and has its headquarters in Milan, but is active on the global market through various foreign offices (United States, Great Britain, France, Spain and Germany). 

Digital Bros is structured into three divisions: Publishing (505 Games), Mobile (505 Mobile) and Distribution (Halifax). The first produces and distributes game content for digital and retail platforms, while the second deals with the creation and distribution of game applications for all mobile and social platforms.

The historic brand of the group is however Halifax, which has established itself in Italy thanks to the distribution of some successful video games (for example, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012).

In the average of the last six months, Digital Bros stock gained 101,86 percent.
