The Capitoline food and wine excellences are told. He arrives in Rome Culture and Sustainability, the three days dedicated to the valorization of typical and sustainable local products. The scheduled event will enliven the spaces of the very central The Building Hotel with a calendar of meetings, talks, screenings and workshops from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May, which will follow the common thread of culture and agri-food sustainability of the Rome area. The project won the Public Notice "aimed at the collection of project proposals for the creation of events, demonstrations, initiatives and projects of interest to the Capitoline Administration of city relevance" promoted by Roma Capitale in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura.

''We started this initiative – explains Andrea Fragasso, organizer of the event. – as a moment of sharing with other players in the sector and with the Roman public because we believe that it represents a significant step in the promotion and valorisation of the food and wine and agri-food excellence of the area, with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and respect for traditions because we believe that through meetings, workshops and discussions we can raise awareness of an ever-increasing number of people, both sector professionals and consumers, on the importance of supporting local and sustainable production, thus contributing to the growth and well-being of our community and the environment" .

We start on Friday 17 May at 14.00 pm with a first meeting which will have as its protagonists the main agri-food companies in the area, from the wine sector to the olive and dairy sectors, as well as the world of hotels and sommeliers. A first screening of the typical productions of the present realities followed by a workshop on agricultural and culinary sustainability; finally, the tasting itinerary of the territory's signature products, from the wines of the Roma Doc Consortium, to the Ricotta Romana Dop Consortium, to the Association of historical cheeses of the Roman countryside and of many other producers present at the tasting stands.
Saturday 18th will focus on the revolutionary importance of LiFi, acronym for 'Light Fidelity', cutting-edge technology in the field of communication, education and its potential role in agri-food. The screening of the video material on new technologies will be followed at 15.00 pm by the workshop attended by LiFi technology and innovation experts, university professors and communication insiders
On Sunday 19th, at 18.00 pm, the awards ceremony for the best agricultural and food and wine companies in the area will take place who have stood out the most in the adoption of sustainable practices and in the protection of the most identifying agricultural and culinary traditions of the Capitoline territory and its communities. The ceremony will be preceded by a workshop on traditional Roman cuisine, held by chef Andrea Cossalter and followed by a tasting made with the award-winning products of the ceremony for an experience that celebrates all the excellence that the Roman scene has to offer.
