In the United States, compromises for home purchases fell by 3,5% in December compared to November. The figure was released by the Real Estate Agents' Association and refers to contracts for the sale of homes that have already been signed but not yet concluded. Economists had expected a smaller decline of 3%.
However, the figure on an annual basis remains positive, recording a growth of 5,6%. On the price front, the data released today indicate a 1% increase in November compared to October and a 1,8% drop over the 12 months.
