“We don't see the recovery. Barring improvements, it will be towards the end of 2013, but for a real recovery, I'm signing up for 2015”. This is the assessment of the president of Confindustria, Giorgio Squinzi, in Brussels for a conference on high-tech Italian manufacturing.
Squinzi reiterated that in Italy it is necessary to recover at least 10 points of the tax disadvantage compared to Germany (which is 20 points). For this purpose the owner of Mapei has his own recipe: "we need to work harder".
