Computer: China beats USA

China surpasses the United States in the IT sector and becomes the world's largest PC market. This was revealed by the IDC, the American research institute which today released the data relating to the second quarter of 2011. In the period in question, the IDC notes that 18,5 million computers were sold in China for the value of about 11,9 17,7 billion dollars, while in the USA sales were 11,7 million, equal to about 22 billion dollars. With this overtaking, Beijing has won 21% of the market while the US is at 2011%. But, despite the milestone now achieved by China, IDC analysts believe this overtaking is momentary because, in an assessment over the entire span of XNUMX, the United States could, thanks to Christmas period purchases, still remain in the saddle of the first place.
