Eurozone trade: surplus of 22,9 billion in March

Exports grew by 2,8%, while imports fell by 1%. In February, the surplus was 10,1 billion euros, against 1,2 billion the previous year.

In the 27-member EU, the surplus instead stood at 15,8 billion, against a deficit of 8,2 billion in March 2012. On an annual basis, exports grew by 3,4%, while imports decreased by '1,1%.
