Leonardo Committee: Moretti, Castellano and Tessitore enter

The shareholders' meeting approved the appointment of three new members, at the head of Italian companies of excellence that contribute to the promotion and affirmation of "Quality Italy" at an international level.

The shareholders' meeting of the Leonardo Committee, which met on 7 March on the sidelines of the Italy Quality Day – XXI edition of the Leonardo Awards, approved the appointment of Mauro Moretti, CEO and General Manager of Finmeccanica, Alessandro Castellano, CEO of SACE and Andrea Tessitore, co-founder and CEO of Italia Independent Group as members of the Governing Council, the executive body of the association.

Finmeccanica, SACE (Cdp group) and Italia Independent Group were evaluated as three Italian companies of excellence that contribute to the promotion andaffirmation of “Quality Italy” at an international level. 

In addition to the appointments of the new Directors, during the Shareholders' Meeting two leading companies in their respective sectors were co-opted to the Committee: Paolo Castelli Spa (furniture) and Conad (large retailers), who will be represented on the Committee respectively by CEO Paolo Castelli and by CEO and General Manager Francesco Pugliese.
