Cleopatra was a curious child: the Tale on FIRST Arte

Like every Sunday in the magazine dedicated to culture, a story: this time it's up to Celenia Ciampa.

Cleopatra was a curious child: the Tale on FIRST Arte

Once upon a time, there was a little girl brave enough to want to experience great fears. Because, after growing up "in an old and creaky house, where every drawer could hide a mystery and every room was a shady cavern", the stories told by others were no longer enough for her. Life, she thought, was really to be lived, and so were the mysteries of death. Thus, after a night spent in the solitude of a cemetery, she will return to the world of tangible things totally changed, "trembling with cold and terror". Sunday's story on FIRST Art, the FIRSTonline magazine dedicated to the universe of culture, masks itself behind the unexpected innocence of a gothic fairy tale, and the author Celenia Ciampa shows that, sometimes, true horror inhabits the least suspicious places.

The author was born in 1984 in a large old house, in which generations of stories have come and gone. From an early age, she wanted to be a teacher and she really became one. An adventurous reader, her love for her books prompted her to start a group on Anobii, the Secret Garden (children's literature and creativity). She lives in Tuscany with her husband and their dogs. She is the author of several short stories and children's books. For goWare, in 2015, it came out The son of the ogre and the witch.

On FIRST Arte also the Women and the Future Project, which participates in Milan Food City proposing the "ancient menus".
