China: Wen, China will achieve GDP growth target of 7,5% in 2012

Chinese premier Wen Jiabao during his speech at the World Economic Forum dsi Tianjin announced that China will meet the GDP growth target of 7,5% in 2012 despite the pressures that its markets will face. 

The Chinese Permier specifies: "It is true that the Chinese economy faces considerable negative pressure but thanks to our efforts to adapt our economic model, better allocate resources and implement more reforms and greater openness, we have the ability to maintain the economy in good shape. […] Economic growth remains within the limits set at the beginning of the year and shows signs of stabilising, despite a slowdown”.
