"Now we have to find ourselves with Iccrea, our CCBs have about 23% and we have to find a way to untie this entanglement". This was stated by the president of Cassa Centrale Banca, Giorgio Fracalossi, on the sidelines of the presentation of the partnership with Deutsche Bank in consumer credit.
Fracalossi explained that 23% of Iccrea is worth about 260-270 million in a nutshell and that, on the contrary, the CCBs that have joined Iccrea have "little or nothing" of Cassa Centrale.
“By the end of the year” therefore discussions on the issue will begin. Among the solutions on the table, according to Fracalossi, there would be the purchase of the share by the CCBs adhering to Iccrea, but the hypothesis of a third-party buyer cannot be ruled out either.
In any case "we will find a way - he concluded - I think there are margins, time and everyone's availability".
It should be emphasized that Icccrea and Cassa Centrale will be the parent company of the two national cooperative credit groups which will be born following the reform of the sector launched by the Renzi government.
