Cattolica: operating result +36% in 2020

Cattolica Insurance closes the 2020 budget with a Operating income up 36,6%, to 412 million euro. L'adjusted profit instead it shot up by 85,9%, to 192 million, while theNet income of group has halved (-51,5%), passing in one year from 75 to 36 million. The company made it known in a statement.

Significant improvement Solvency Ratio: between the third and fourth quarters, the indicator went from 161 to 187% thanks to the 300 million capital increase subscribed by Generali last October.

La total collection on the other hand, it fell by 18,6%, to 5,7 billion: the decrease was limited due to the premiums of the Danni (-2,5%), where it is the Auto sector that weighs, while that of the sector Life it is ten times more serious (-26,1%), "also due to the marked decrease during the lockdown period", specifies Cattolica.

No coupon in sight for the shareholders: "Also following the recommendations of Eiopa and Ivass - reads the note - and having not yet completed the capital transactions required by the regulator, the Cattolica Board of Directors proposes the allocation of profits".
