Just over 5 months after the heart problem that cast more than one doubt on Cassano's career, today the footballer had the positive answer: passed the examinations for competitive fitness carried out at the Sports Medicine Institute of Milan. The confirmation came from the Milan doctor Rudi Tavana: “The certificate is there, the Italian medical federation helped us, Cassano is suitable. He will come back when Allegri wants. The ok is definitive, I hope there is no need for further eligibility”.
Cassano can therefore return to play. We still don't know exactly when he will play, given that he has been out for 5 months, but he has already resumed training and when Mr. Allegri deems him available, he will be able to field him. Definitely with caution and in small doses, but probably already in this championship. In fact, there is talk of a possible call-up for the next championship match, Saturday 8 April at San Siro against Fiorentina. In the Easter shift, as if to sanction the resurrection of Fantantonio.
