The chairman Andrea Bonomi, the managing director Davide Croff and the directors Alessandro Foti and Dante Razzano have resigned from the Management Board of BPM. This was announced in a press release from the bank which explains that the four members of the CDG have resigned "to put an end to the serious situation of uncertainty in which the bank finds itself and to allow the CDS, which will be appointed by the next meeting, to assume any resolution in the exclusive interest of the institute for stable and lasting management that guarantees the success of the capital increase and continues the process of relaunching the bank". The resignations take effect from 21 December, the day of the assembly for the renewal of the CDS.

After the convulsive days of the last few days, the process of renewing the governance of Piazza Meda is accelerating. The management board met today and, following the request of the supervisory board, resolved to convene the ordinary shareholders' meeting for 20 and 21 December, respectively on first and second call. On the agenda is the proposal to revoke the CDS and the appointment of the new CDS for the 2013-2015 financial years. Furthermore, to allow the new Board of Directors, which will be appointed by the new Board of Directors, to approve the new business plan, it resolved to convene the shareholders' meeting also in an extraordinary session to propose the extension of the final execution deadline of the capital increase from 30 April to July 31, 2014.
