Stock exchange, Impregilo flies on Brazilian wings

Day in great shape in Piazza Affari for the title of Impregilo, which in mid-morning earns almost three points, clearly taking the lead in the Ftse Mib. The purchases of the general contractor's shares come just a few hours after the publication of some slides on the company's 2013-2015 industrial plan.

The documents show that Impregilo intends to sell the remaining 6,5% it holds in Ecorodovias by the end of the year. The sale of the entire stake (29,24%) should lead in the coffers of the group 970 million euros (assuming a euro-real exchange rate of 2,610). In total, from disposals and extraordinary items, the company expects a cash flow of 1,5 billion euros.

Last October, Impregilo sold 19% of Ecorodovias to Primav and 3,7% to Btg Pactual, keeping 6,54% of the Brazilian company in its portfolio. The CEO Pietro Salini had clarified that the net cash-in from the sale of the first two packages would have been around 770 million.

The slides also show that the construction company aims to obtain around 350 million from the sales of Fisia, Fisia Babcock, Sh. Puchenng by 2013 and approximately 150 million from the Messina bridge penalty and from the sale of the CDR Fibe waste plant by 2014.
