Stock exchange: good Saipem and luxury, two-speed banks

Tired morning for European price lists. Piazza Affari regains share after the publication of the Zew index better than expected - Oil down but still in the spotlight - Among the utilities promoted by Snam, A2A rebounds - Moncler and Ferragamo recover

European stock markets moved little at the end of the morning. TO Milano the Ftse Mib index is down slightly (-0,14%), just above 16,500 points, in line with Madrid. Increases between 0,1 and 0,2% per Paris, Frankfurt e London.

THEZew index on confidence in the German economy rose more than expected in October to 6,2 from 0,5 in the previous month, thanks to the boost ensured by industry and exports. The research institute stressed that to boost Europe's largest economy it warned that political and economic risks remain. In particular, he added, fears about the banking sector are weighing on Germany's economic prospects.

Also the confidence index of analysts and investors on the prospects of the Italian economy recorded an improvement in October and turned positive. Based on the economic survey again by the German research institute Zew, the Italian index of the same name rose to +0,5 from -0,5 in September.

More spotlight on crude oil, which yesterday updated the highs of the last 12 months. Today, Brent fell by 0,5% to 52,8 dollars a barrel and Wti fell by 0,4% to 51,1 dollars. In Piazza Affari Eni drops by 0,5%: Exane has started coverage with an Underperform recommendation and a target price of 12,5 euros.

Corre Saipem (+3%) thanks to the assumption that the Turkish Stream gas pipeline is actually being built. Tenaris drops by 0,7%. Modest progress for Enel (+0,1%), down Telecom Italy (-0,4%).

Well bought Mediaset (+1,47%): the market is betting that the rise of Vincent Bolloré in the capital of Vivendi could facilitate an agreement on Premium.

Among the utilities it goes up Snam (+0,7%), promoted by HSBC to Buy from Hold. Atlantia advances by 0,2%: Ubs has raised its rating to Buy from Neutral. A2A +1,4%. 
Well some luxury stocks like Moncler +0,72% and Ferragamo +1,58% in the wake of the good quarter of the French giant Lvmh.

Contrasted the banking sector. Unicredit retreats by 0,6%, Understanding -0,6% Ubi -0,1% Mount Paschi +1%. Weak Fineco Bank (-2,12%): the stock pays for the uncertain scenario following the start of the strategic review of the parent company UniCredit.

Popular Bank travels on parity, while Banca Pop.Milan is down 1%. The shareholders' meetings for the merger between the two institutes will be held next Saturday. 

Among the insurance companies, little move Generali, while UnipolSai salt of 0,4%.
