The 2017 nest bonus is no longer a mystery. On Tuesday 23 June INPS published the instructions on how to apply for the new 1.000 euro contribution for parents with a child born or adopted from 2016 January XNUMX onwards.

WHEN TO APPLY

The application for the 2017 nursery bonus - writes INPS - can be presented from next July 17 (the date from which the online procedure will be available) until December 31 of this year.

HOW TO APPLY

It will be possible to send the application for the 2017 nursery bonus through one of these 5 channels:

1) the INPS portal, via device PIN;

2) the Public digital identity system (Spid);

3) the National Service Card (CNS);

4) the contact center at the toll-free number 803.164 (free from a landline) or at the number 06164.164 (for those calling from mobile phones, with rates charged to the calling user);

5) the online services of patronage bodies.

WHO IS IT

The 2017 nursery bonus is available to parents of minors born or adopted on or after 2016 January XNUMX, provided they meet two requirements:

– residence in Italy;

– Italian or EU citizenship, or non-EU citizenship but with a residence permit for long-term residents or one of the residence cards for non-EU family members of EU citizens provided for by articles 10 and 17 of Legislative Decree no. 30/2007.

"Italian citizens, for this benefit, are treated as foreign citizens with the status of political refugee or the status of subsidiary protection - the INPS continues - The applicant must be the one who has faced the burden of expenditure regarding the nursery school and must also be cohabiting in the event of facilitation for home support".

As in the case of bonus mom tomorrowThere is no income ceiling.

WHAT IT IS FOR AND HOW IT IS DELIVERED

The 2017 nursery bonus is used to pay the fees of public and private nursery schools, or to finance "forms of support at one's home - reads the text of the last Budget law – in favor of children under the age of three suffering from serious chronic pathologies”, who therefore cannot go to kindergarten.

The bonus is a contribution of 1.000 euros a year paid by INPS in 11 months of around 90,9 euros each if destined for nursery school attendance. For home support, on the other hand, the payment takes place in a single solution.

THE BACK PAYMENTS

Finally, INPS ensures that "the transitional phase up to the date of issue of the application" will be managed "without any prejudice to those entitled from the date of entry into force of the law", which was set by the maneuver on January 2017, XNUMX.

This means that “the first payment will include the amount of the documented monthly installments accrued up to that moment – ​​concludes the institute – Starting from the month following the one in which the procedure is issued, the payment will be monthly. The benefits for the year 2017 are recognized in the total limit of 144 million euros with charges borne by the State Budget".
