The INPS has published a circular on bonuses 200 euro introduced by the government with the aid decree to clarify a number of aspects related to the new one-off income support measure: who makes up the audience of beneficiaries, when the money will arrive, who has to fill out the form to apply for the benefit.
Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Who gets the 200 euro bonus?
Employees
"The measure concerns a large number of citizens - writes the INPS - Employees, public and private, holders of one or more employment relationships, to whom it belongs, from 1 January 2022 until day before the publication of the circular, the right to the 0,8% tax exemption”.
Retirees
Pension holders will also benefit from the measure, "dependent on any form of compulsory social security, pension or social allowance, pension or allowance for civilian disabled, blind and deaf-mute, as well as holders of accompanying pension treatments", provided that the personal income Irpef - net of social security and welfare contributions - does not exceed 2021 euros for the year 35.000.
Unemployment benefit recipients
The beneficiaries of the provision also include those who, in June, are holders of NASpI and DIS-COLL, agricultural unemployment for 2022 (pertaining to 2021) and Covid-19 indemnity launched by the Sostegni and Sostegni bis decrees.
Domestic workers
The 200 euro bonus is also recognized to domestic workers insured with the Management of Domestic Workers of INPS, belonging to the categories identified by the national contract, which provides for the main functions of family collaborators and assistants for non self-sufficient persons. These must have at least one active relationship as of 18 May 2022, a 2021 income not exceeding 35 thousand euros and must not be holders of other employment or pension activity.
Citizens income holders
Finally, the measure will also be paid to households benefiting from the Citizenship Income, if the members of the household have not already benefited from the same contribution as they belong to the other categories receiving the bonus.
Who must complete the declaration for the 200 euro Bonus?
Public employees receive the 200 euro bonus automatically, while private sector employees must deliver to their employer a declaration in which they affirm "that they are not entitled to pension benefits, dependent on any form of social security, pension and Citizenship Income”, continues the Institute.
How does it work for part time jobs?
If the worker has more than one part-time employment relationship, he will have to submit the declaration to the employer only who will arrange for the payment of the indemnity.
Who must submit the application for the 200 euro bonus?
INPS explains that the following categories of workers will have to apply:
- holders of coordinated and continuous collaboration relationships, with an active contract as of May 18, 2022 and income deriving from the aforementioned relationships not exceeding 35.000 euros for 2021.
- seasonal, fixed-term and intermittent with 50 days of actual work in 2021, which results in an income not exceeding 35.000 euros. The audience of recipients also includes fixed-term workers in the agricultural sector;
- registered in the Entertainment Workers' Pension Fund with 50 daily contributions in 2021, from which an income not exceeding 35.000 euros derives;
- occasional self-employed persons without VAT number, not registered in other compulsory social security forms, already holders in 2021 of contracts governed by Article 2222 of the Civil Code, registered in the Separate Management on 18 May 2022, who have paid at least one monthly contribution in the course of 2021;
- in charge of home sales, registered in the Separate Account as of May 18, 2022, who can claim an income of more than 2021 euros deriving from this activity for 5.000.
By when?
For these categories, the deadline for submitting applications is October 31st.
Domestic workers must also submit an application to INPS, but for them the last useful day will be 30 September.
When is the 200 euro bonus given?
INPS has published the following calendar.
In July 2022
- The 200 euro bonus will already be given in July to employees, to the beneficiary nuclei of Rdc, to domestic workers, to holders of one or more pension treatments dependent on any form of compulsory social security, pension or social allowance, pension or allowance for the disabled civilians, blind and deaf-mute, as well as accompanying treatments for retirement.
In October 2022
- In October it will be the turn of the holders of NASpI, DIS-COLL, the audience of beneficiaries of agricultural unemployment 2021 and of the former beneficiaries of the former Covid 2021 allowances and workers belonging to the categories called to apply.
