Instant transfers: with Nexi possible throughout Europe

Instant bank transfers throughout the Eurozone, 24 hours a day and 24 days a year: this is Nexi's goal, which wants to give all banks that choose its instant payment platform the possibility to take advantage of the immediate settlement of electronic retail payments, seamless. This will be possible thanks to the agreement between nexi Type (target instant payments settlement), the pan-European settlement service for instant payments managed by European Central Bank for countries that use the euro.

The solution of nexi – reads a note from the company – it was the first in Italy to carry out exchanges in production on instant bank transfers already at the end of 2017 together with Creval, recently started with Ubi and shortly will also activate Ps e Cedacri. “The service of nexi, modular and completely turnkey – continues the press release – is characterized by Gateway, ACH and value-added services components, from anti-fraud to anti-terrorism, to the Network and numerous additional modules that allow banks to launch the service in a very short time rapid, thanks also to the relationship with a single interlocutor and assistance services throughout the development process”.

Nexi's is the first integration of an Italian instant bank transfer platform with Type and it can give a further boost to the Instant Payments market which, in our country, is estimated to reach 2020% of banks in the first half of 80.

“Thanks to this integration, we offer our partner banks added value to make available to their customers,” he says Renato Martini, Digital banking solutions director of nexi – To date, 65% of bank branches are active on the instant payments market, largely with the contribution of nexi: thanks to the partnership with TIPS, we count on accelerating the development of this important disruption in the world of iban-based payments".
