The board of directors of the French bank Bnp Paribas has acknowledged the resignation of the outgoing president Baudouin Prot, effective from 1 December, the date from which the new president, appointed by the same board, will take office: Jean Lemierre.
Prot was in Bnp for over 30 years, 10 of which as president, a period during which the transalpine institute, which also acquired the Italian Bnl, doubled its revenues, bringing them from 18 to 39 billion euros, and its own collaborators all over the world, which rose from 89 to 185 units.
