Generali's stake in Banca d'Italia, around 4,5% of the capital, will all end up on the market within three years. This is the salient point of the agreement that via Nazionale signed with Fondo Strategico Italiano, the company controlled by the CDP, to which the stake will be transferred to resolve the conflict of interest deriving from the new insurance supervision.

This was announced in a press release from via Nazionale. The granting of the share will take place by April. FSI undertakes to vote in the General Assembly in line with funds.
