Banca Ifis: Interbanca finances the Carlyle fund for the acquisition of Golden Goose

Interbanca has organized a pool loan together with other credit institutions (Unicredit, Banca IMI, Banca Popolare di Milano and Mediterranean Bank) to support the private equity fund Carlyle in the acquisition of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, the shoe brand operating in the luxury lifestyle segment, founded in 2000 in Venice.

Interbanca (part of the Banca IFIS Group since November 2016) has signed an important new deal in Structured Finance. Interbanca has organized a pool loan together with other credit institutions (Unicredit, Banca IMI, Banca Popolare di Milano and Mediterranean Bank) to support the private equity fund Carlyle in the acquisition of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, the shoe brand operating in the luxury lifestyle segment, founded in 2000 in Venice by the creatives Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo, which in just a few years has multiplied its revenues from 30 million in 2013 to 100 million in 2016.

The American fund has reached a agreement with Ergon Capital Partners for the acquisition of 100% of the Golden Goose group carried out through a newly established vehicle controlled by the Carlyle Group. An investment aimed at international retail expansion and strengthening of the e-commerce channel.
