Banca Generali: funding of 120 million in July. Boom of managed products

Banca Generali's total net inflows in July amounted to 120 million euro. Since the beginning of the year, total net inflows amounted to 1.164 million euro, of which 796 million euro from the Banca Generali network and 368 million from Banca Generali Private Banking. It should be noted that the month of July experienced a clear acceleration in the collection of managed products (115 million euro against 75 million euro in June), intensifying a trend of transformation from administered to managed already underway for some months. Since the beginning of the year, deposits in asset management products amounted to 758 million euro with an increase of 22% compared to the corresponding period last year.

Inflows were directed towards all product categories, but funds and portfolio managements made the most significant progress, almost double the net inflows compared to the previous month (47 million euro against 21 million in June ). Capital-protected managements with specialization in equity lines of emerging markets and bond and total return mutual funds with a marked component of currency diversification contributed to this result in particular.

“Still a good month in terms of volumes and product mix, with a clear orientation towards risk diversification, which has always represented one of the fundamental guidelines of our investment philosophy – commented the CEO Piermario Motta – If the insurance product was fundamental in the first few months of the year to seize the opportunities linked to the dynamics of sovereign debt, our customers are now responding positively to the risk diversification proposals through funds and portfolio management, which we offer with always great attention to capital protection”.
