Banca Etruria, searches in progress in the financed companies

New raid by the Guardia di Finanza on the Banca Etruria affair. It was taken this morning and was anticipated by Corriere della Sera online. The Fiamme Gialle are searching 14 companies linked to former president Lorenzo Rosi and former councilor Luciano Nataloni. Companies that had obtained credit lines from the bank which then went bankrupt. The crime hypotheses investigated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, for both, are the«failed to communicate the conflict of interest» for not having communicated to the Board of Directors that he had authorized the granting of credit lines to have a role within the companies. A behavior aggravated by the fact that those loans are "impaired" and have generated losses of 18 million euros.

The delegation to the financiers requires the acquisition of all accounting documents to establish how the money has been used and any connections between the various companies. The investigation thus enters a crucial phase to ascertain the level of transparency and the possible responsibilities of the directors in the bank's crash.
