Cars: sedans, SUVs, electric cars. The most anticipated models in 2017

For the automotive world, 2016 was the year of rebirth. The market will close the current year with a remarkable performance: +5,6% for the European market in November, which become +6,9% in the 11 months of the year. In practical terms this means that more than a million more vehicles have been sold than in 2015.

But if 2016 ends with a smile, 2017 seems to herald an equally positive year thanks also to the numerous new arrivals. From sedans to SUVs, through luxury and electric cars, next year four-wheel lovers will be able to indulge themselves with the many models that will hit the market.

CARS 2017: SUV-CROSSOVER

2017 will open with the same trend that characterized 2016, namely: everyone is crazy about crossovers that have invaded practically all segments of the market reaching the Suzuki Ignis and Rolls Royce Cullinan. Not to mention the Fiesta that with Active has decided to put on the market a quasi-SUV that had never been seen before.

But Italy will also take center stage with Alfa Romeo which will enter the market in full force with the new Stelvio, an unprecedented proposal for the brand which should be launched between March and April 2017.

Those looking for a more classic alternative, without giving up a touch of modernity, can count on Mercedes, which will focus on the new one E-class station wagon in the All Terrain version. In short, the SUV-crossover segment will be well represented in 2017.

CARS 2017: SUPERCARS

It is the cars that 99% of the population just look at on the pages of newspapers, sighing or dreaming about. Even the luxury segment, in 2017, will not remain idle. The first novelty will already arrive on New Year's Eve with the new one Bugatti Chiron, a 1.500 hp fireball. If that were not enough, the wait for the is very high Lamborghini Aventador S (four-wheel steering and a maximum speed of 350 km/h). The prancing horse will instead appear on the Japanese market with the Ferrari J50, produced in only 10 specimens and already destined to become a cult.

CARS 2017: THE SEDANS

Traditional sedans will also be well represented in 2017. Let's start with the new one Bmw 5 Series with the latest generation of on-board electronics, to then continue with the Japanese Lexus LS and the long-awaited Audi A8, which according to advances should be the first "road car" with autonomous driving characteristics. Volkswagen will instead focus on Arteon, a genuine German flagship presented as the heir to the CC.

CARS 2017: THE ELECTRICS

A very interesting novelty for citizens forced to face the car blockades established in large cities to stem high pollution will be the arrival of new small and agile electric cars. Among them, Opel's proposals stand out, with Ampera e, a vehicle with a range of 500 km and the Jaguar I-Pace, a zero-emission crossover that promises to spark sparks in a 2017 that promises to be very rich for the car segment.
