Atlantia closed the fourth quarter of 2016 with a Net income total more than doubled on an annual basis, to 338 million euros, while the net result attributable to the group rose to 309 million compared to 99 million in 2016 (+45,1% vs consensus).
I revenues amounted to 1.355 million euro, up 4,5% compared to the same period of the previous year (-1,2% vs consensus), thanks to the good traffic performance recorded by the subsidiaries Aeroporti di Roma (Adr ) and Autostrade per l'Italia (Aspi).
The Ebitda rose by 1,5%, to 738 million (-3,1% vs consensus) compared to the same period of 2016.EBIT which reaches 593 million, an increase of 45,3% (+7,2% vs consensus).
Il operating income benefited from recoveries of provisions for restoration and renewals, which brought the item to a positive balance of 123 million, against a cost of 77 million in the same period of 2016.
The financial debt net as at 31 December 2016 stood at 11,677 billion, up by 1.488 million compared to the end of September (+349 million vs consensus).
Proposed to the shareholders' meeting a dividend of 0,970 euro per share (0,880 euro per share in 2015) based on the 2016 result. It should be remembered that 0,440 euro per share of the aforementioned dividend was paid as an interim payment last November. The balance of 0,530 euro per share will be paid next May.
For 2017, management expects an improvement in the group's profitability and growth in the main management indicators. Shortly after the opening of trading, the stock traded at 22,54 euros, up 0,6%, outperforming the Ftse Mib which remained unchanged.
At the end of the morning the title of Atlantia gains 1,6% on the Milan Stock Exchange, at 22,74 euros.
