The deadline for the presentation of the binding and definitive offer for Alitalia by Ferrovie dello Stato has been postponed to 15 October. This was announced by the Ministry of Economic Development. The decision was taken by the head of the dicastery, Stefano Patuanelli, at the request of the airline's Extraordinary Commissioners.
The goal, reads the note from the ministry, is to allow the purchasing consortium to define the details of the airline's recovery plan.
