After the acquisition of Air Berlin, the Lufthansa group does not stop. The German airline confirmed that it had submitted an offer letter today, expressing interest in the creation of a "New Alitalia".
“Lufthansa – reads a press release – has chosen not to submit an offer for the entire airline, but has declared interest only in the global network and in the point-to-point flight business (those carried out by the company between two non-stop airports, ed.) in Europe and in Italy”. The stew hypothesis therefore becomes increasingly probable.
The offer, continues the Lufthansa press release, includes a proposal for a new Alitalia structure with a focused business model that could give rise to long-term economic prospects. "The responsible commissioners - concludes the press release - have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of the details of the offer".
In all the offers for Alitalia there are seven: Easyjet is back.
We recall that in the tax decree approved last Friday, the Government relaxed the repayment terms of the 600 million loan granted to Alitalia, allocating a further loan of 300 million euros.
