Raffaele Agrusti is the new chief financial officer of Rai. The appointment, decided by the general manager Antonio Campo Dall'Orto, was announced by Viale Mazzini in a note.
Agrusti, former CEO of Generali Italia and previously general and financial director of the insurance company, takes the place of Camillo Rossotto.
The manager “will have the delicate task of managing finances, about 300 million more expected, deriving from fee in the electricity bill – reads the text – and evaluate corporate investments to implement the project of making Rai a 'media company' able to compete with the big international players”.
His choice came from a shortlist of names selected by Spencer Stuart, a company that recruits executive figures.
